Phlox is a small, quiet community in Wisconsin, United States. It is not a big city with its own government. Instead, it is an unincorporated community. This means it is a part of a larger area called Norwood in Langlade County. Phlox is located on Wisconsin Highway 47, southeast of a town called Antigo. The Menominee people, who are the original inhabitants of this land, have a special name for Phlox. In their language, it is called Omāhkahkow-Menīkān. This cool name means "frog town"!
