Norwood is a small town located in Langlade County, Wisconsin, United States. In 2010, about 913 people lived there. A smaller community called Phlox is also part of Norwood.

Where is Norwood Located?

Norwood is found at the southern edge of Langlade County. It shares borders with Menominee County to the east and Shawano County to the south. The town is about 12 miles (19 kilometers) southeast of Antigo. Antigo is the main city and county seat for Langlade County.

The United States Census Bureau says that Norwood covers a total area of about 36.1 square miles (93.5 square kilometers). Most of this area, about 35.6 square miles (92.1 square kilometers), is land. The remaining part, about 0.55 square miles (1.4 square kilometers), is water. This means about 1.54% of the town is covered by water.

The Red River starts in Norwood. This river is a branch of the Wolf River. The Red River drains most of the land in Norwood. The West Branch of the Red River also flows through the southwest part of the town.
