Pine Island is a small town in Waller County, Texas, United States. It is located near where two roads, Farm to Market Road 359 and Farm to Market Road 3346, meet. In 2020, about 1,077 people lived there. This town is not connected to a different, empty island with the same name in Lake Livingston.
Geography of Pine Island
Pine Island is located at 30°3′48″N 96°1′23″W / 30.06333°N 96.02306°W. The town covers an area of about 9.3 square miles (24.2 square kilometers). Most of this area is land, with only a very small part being water.
Clear Creek forms the western edge of the town. Some parts of U.S. Route 290 Business are on the northern border. Cochran Road makes up part of the eastern border, and Betka Road forms part of the southern border.
