Pinoso (pronounced pee-NOH-so), also known as El Pinós in Valencian, is a traditional town in Spain. It is located in the beautiful mountainous countryside near the border of the Alicante and Murcia regions. Pinoso is about 56 kilometers (about 35 miles) from the city of Alicante.

This charming town is well-known for producing excellent wines, rock salt, and beautiful marble. Pinoso has a population of about 7,845 people and covers an area of 126 square kilometers (about 49 square miles). In recent years, more and more visitors have discovered this lovely place.
