Pir Noor Muhammad Shah Jeelani (Urdu: پیر نور محمد شاہ جیلانی; born September 15, 1951 – died December 24, 2020) was an important politician from Pakistan. He served as a member of the National Assembly of Pakistan. This is like being a representative in the country's main law-making body. He represented the Tharparkar district in Sindh. He was a member of the National Assembly from 2013 to 2018, and again from 2018 until he passed away.
His Early Life
Pir Noor Muhammad Shah Jeelani was born on September 15, 1951.
Becoming a Politician
Pir Noor Muhammad Shah Jeelani wanted to help his community. He first ran for a seat in the National Assembly of Pakistan in 2008. At that time, he was a candidate for the Pakistan Muslim League (F) party. He did not win that election.
Later, in the 2013 general election, he ran again for the National Assembly. This time, he was a candidate for the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP). He won the election and became a member of the National Assembly. He represented the Tharparkar area.
His Time in the National Assembly
As a member of the National Assembly, Pir Noor Muhammad Shah Jeelani worked for his people. He served his first term from 2013 to 2018.
He was re-elected to the National Assembly in the 2018 general election. He continued to represent the Tharparkar area as a member of the PPP. He served in this role until his death.

Pir Noor Muhammad Shah Jeelani passed away in Karachi, Pakistan, on December 24, 2020. He was 66 years old. His death was due to COVID-19 during the COVID-19 pandemic in Pakistan.
