Pittman is a small community in Lake County, Florida, in the United States. It's known as a census-designated place (CDP). This means it's an area defined by the government for counting people. However, it doesn't have its own local government like a city or town. In 2020, about 227 people lived there. Pittman is also part of the larger Orlando area, which includes cities like Kissimmee.
Where is Pittman Located?
Pittman is found in the northern part of Lake County. To its west is Marion County. To the east, you'll find Lake Dorr. The community is bordered to the north by the Ocala National Forest.
A main road, Florida State Road 19, goes right through Pittman. If you drive south on this road, you'll reach Eustis in about 11 miles. If you head north, you'll get to Palatka in about 52 miles.
