Josep María Comadevall Crous (born 24 November 1983), known as Pitu, is a Spanish former footballer. He played as a central midfielder, which means he helped both defend and attack in the middle of the field. Pitu is known for his long career playing for many different clubs in Spain and even a short time in India.

Pitu's Football Journey
Starting at FC Barcelona
Pitu was born in Salt, Girona, a town in Catalonia, Spain. He started his football journey at a young age, joining the famous FC Barcelona youth academy. This is where many top players learn their skills.
He played for Barcelona's youth teams for many years. Later, he moved up to play for Barcelona's reserve team. This team helps young players get ready for professional football.
First Team Debut
On 20 May 2006, Pitu got to play his first and only game for the main FC Barcelona team. This was in La Liga, Spain's top football league. He came into the game as a substitute for another player, Ludovic Giuly.
Even though Barcelona lost that game, they had already won the league championship that season! It was a special moment for Pitu to play for such a big club.
Moving to Other Clubs
After his time at Barcelona, Pitu played for several other teams. He spent a season with Girona FC, a team close to his hometown. Then, he joined UD Las Palmas, a club from the Canary Islands. He played there for about a year and a half.
Pitu then spent five years playing in Spain's third-tier league. In 2014, he helped his team, UE Llagostera, get promoted back to the second division. He scored eight goals for them that season, which was a great achievement.
Playing in India
In 2016, Pitu had a new adventure! He played for FC Pune City in the Indian Super League. This was a chance for him to experience football in a different country.
Returning to Llagostera
After his time in India, Pitu returned to UE Llagostera. He played for them for several more years until 2021. He had a long and successful career, playing many games and scoring goals for the teams he represented.
