Planning is how people and groups figure out what they want to do and how to do it. It means thinking ahead about what needs to happen. Then, they make a detailed step-by-step plan.
Everyone plans in some way, even if they don't realize it. It's a basic part of being smart and organized. For big groups and governments, planning is a very important job.

What is Planning?
Planning helps you decide what the future should look like. It's different from just guessing what will happen. When you plan, you set goals and figure out the best way to reach them.
How Planning Works
Planning involves creating documents, drawing diagrams, and having meetings. These help everyone understand the goals and the steps to take. The way planning is done can change depending on the situation. For example, planning a birthday party is different from planning a school project.
Planning vs. Self-Organization
Sometimes, things can get organized on their own without a strict plan. This is called self-organization. It's like when a group of friends naturally figures out who will do what for a game, without anyone telling them. But for big or important tasks, a clear plan is usually needed.
