Plattekill is a small community in Ulster County, New York, in the United States. About 1,296 people lived there in 2020. The community is named after a local stream called the Platte Kill.
Plattekill is located in the southern part of the larger Town of Plattekill. It's close to a major highway, the New York State Thruway (Interstate 87). The community is also near the county line of Orange County.
