Pleasant Hill is a small village located in Pike County, Illinois, United States. In 2010, about 966 people lived there.
Pleasant Hill is famous for its fun annual events. It hosts the yearly Pike County Fair, which is a big attraction. The village also holds the Bi-State Annual Demolition Derby. This exciting event used to take place at Six Flags St. Louis in Eureka, Missouri.
Every year, Pleasant Hill celebrates the Fourth of July with a big party. Many people from all over the county come to enjoy the festivities. The fireworks show is so bright that people in nearby towns can see it!
