Marcus Ramone Cooper Sr, known by his stage name Pleasure P, is an American R&B singer. He first became famous as a member of the music group Pretty Ricky. After leaving the group in 2007, he started his own solo music career.

His first solo album, The Introduction of Marcus Cooper, came out in 2009. This album was even nominated for a Grammy Award!

Music Career

Starting a Solo Career (2009–2012)

After leaving the group Pretty Ricky, Pleasure P began working on his own music. He released his first solo song, "Did You Wrong", on July 22, 2008. This song became quite popular, reaching number 90 on the Billboard Hot 100 charts. It also climbed to number 20 on the top R&B/Hip-Hop charts.

In 2008, he also released a short album called "Boyfriend #2". This album included "Did You Wrong" and another song called "Boyfriend #2". Music videos for both songs were released online. Later in 2009, he released the song "Under" from his upcoming album.

His first full solo album, The Introduction of Marcus Cooper, was released on June 9, 2009. This album was a big step in his solo career. Pleasure P also gained more attention when he was featured on a song from Flo Rida's album R.O.O.T.S..

New Music and Record Deal (2012)

On June 21, 2012, Pleasure P released a new song called "I Love Girls". This song featured another artist named Tyga. This song was the first single from his second album, which was planned to be called King of Romance.

This new album was also his first release with his new record company, E1 Music. He also worked on another song called "I Really Need to Know". In September 2013, Pleasure P released a new single titled "Kiss Me".

New Mixtape and Pretty Ricky Reunion (2014-Present)

On February 6, 2014, Pleasure P shared on his social media that he would release a new song. This song, "Letter to My Ex," was part of his mixtape called "Break Up to Make Up". The mixtape was released on February 14, 2014.

In 2014, Pleasure P and the original members of his former group, Pretty Ricky, announced they were getting back together! They planned a worldwide tour and a new album called Bluestars 2. The group's first new song together, "Puddles," came out on Valentine's Day in 2015.

In 2022, Pleasure P took part in a popular online music show called Verzuz. He and his teammate Sammie competed against Bobby V and Ray J. This event was watched by many people. After the show, the four artists decided to form a new supergroup. They came up with the name R.S.V.P. This new group is currently working on releasing their first album.
