The Story of the Marrs
The Port Arthur Marrs were part of the Thunder Bay Junior Hockey League. This league was a big part of Hockey Northwestern Ontario. Over the years, the team changed its name a few times. In 1970, they became the Thunder Bay Marrs. Then, in 1971, they changed again to the Thunder Bay Case Eagles. Later, they were known as the Thunder Bay North Stars. The team stopped playing on July 6, 1980. This happened because their league, the TBAHA, no longer had a place for them to play.
How They Played Each Season
The team played many seasons, starting in 1925. They had a lot of games each year. Sometimes they finished at the top of their league. Other times, they were still learning and growing as a team. They always worked hard on the ice.
