Port Davis is a place in the state of South Australia, Australia. It is located on the eastern coast of the Spencer Gulf. This area is about 18 kilometers (11 miles) west of the city of Port Pirie. It is also about 197 kilometers (122 miles) north of Adelaide, the capital city of South Australia.

Port Davis was officially named in June 1995. Its name was chosen because it had been used for a long time in the area.
Where is Port Davis Located?
Port Davis sits on the western and northern sides of a piece of land called Jarrold Point. This point is part of the southern edge of Germein Bay. The area also includes where the Broughton River meets the sea. This river is sometimes called Port Davis Creek.
What is the Land Used For?
The land in Port Davis is used for two main things. Along the coastline, the land is set aside for conservation. This means protecting nature. Here, very few buildings are allowed. Any buildings would be for light recreation, like small picnic areas. These must fit in with the natural environment. On the southeastern side of Port Davis, the land is used for agriculture. This means farming.

Port Davis is part of several government areas. For national elections, it is in the federal Division of Grey. For state elections in South Australia, it is in the Frome district. Locally, Port Davis is managed by the Port Pirie Regional Council.
