Bryant Reginald Moss (born 1967), known as Preacher Moss, is an American comedian and writer. He is famous for being one of the three comedians in the group Allah Made Me Funny.

Early Life and Comedy Beginnings
Preacher Moss was born in Washington, D.C. His parents were Clifford and Mary Moss. He started doing comedy when he was only seven years old. People called him "Preacher" because he was so good at imitating his family's church pastor.
He grew up in Maryland and went to a military school. When he was 17, he began performing sketch comedy. By his early twenties, he was performing in comedy clubs.
In 1988, when he was 20, he became a Muslim. He studied journalism at Marquette University. After college, he taught children with special needs in Milwaukee. He also kept performing stand-up comedy.
Becoming a Writer
In 1994, Preacher Moss was the opening act for comedian Darrell Hammond. Hammond was impressed and hired him as a writer. To improve his comedy skills, Moss moved to Los Angeles. There, he continued teaching special education classes. He also wrote jokes and scripts for other famous comedians, like Damon Wayans and George Lopez.
Stand-Up Comedy Career
Preacher Moss began performing his own comedy shows in bigger venues. He wrote a show called End of Racism. Starting in 2000, he traveled to many colleges and high schools. He performed, taught, and talked about important topics. These included poverty, racism, different cultures, and civil rights.
He performed "End of Racism" for four years. Then, he had an idea for a new kind of comedy show. This show would talk about prejudice against Muslims, which was growing after the events of September 11, 2001.
In May 2004, Moss teamed up with other Muslim comedians, Azhar Usman and Azeem Muhammad. (Azeem Muhammad was later replaced by Mohammed Amer in 2006). They started a comedy tour called Allah Made Me Funny. In its first year, the tour visited 30 cities in the U.S. They also performed in Canada, Europe, Malaysia, Australia, New Zealand, and the Middle East.
Preacher Moss has performed at big events, like the Global Peace and Unity Event in London. He also performed for the Council on American-Islamic Relations in Oklahoma City in 2010. You can see Preacher Moss in the movie The Muslims Are Coming!. This film shows Muslim American comedians touring the U.S. to help people understand Islam better.
Television Work
In March 2013, Preacher Moss began working to get money for a TV show. It was a pilot episode for a sitcom called Here Come the Muhammads. Production for the show started in October 2013.
Comedy Style
Preacher Moss often talks about his journey from Christianity to Islam. He uses his experiences as a Black Muslim in America to share funny stories. His comedy often touches on race and religion.
Personal Life
In 2003, Preacher Moss married Yasmin. She is an Indian Muslim from Toronto, Canada. When he is not touring, he lives in Long Beach, California. He also often visits his mother in Washington, D.C.
