Princess Maria-Olympia of Greece and Denmark was born on July 25, 1996. She is a fashion model and a member of the former Greek royal family. She is the oldest child and only daughter of Pavlos, Crown Prince of Greece, and his wife, Marie-Chantal Miller. Her grandparents were Constantine II of Greece and Anne-Marie of Denmark. They were the last King and Queen of Greece.

Early Life and Education

Princess Maria-Olympia was born in New York City on July 25, 1996. Her parents are Pavlos, Crown Prince of Greece, and Marie-Chantal. She was baptized in a special ceremony in Istanbul, Turkey, in December 1996. Her godparents include her aunt, Princess Alexia of Greece and Denmark, and Charles III, who is now the King of the United Kingdom.

Her family later moved to London, where she grew up. Maria-Olympia has four younger brothers: Prince Constantine-Alexios, Prince Achileas-Andreas, Prince Odysseas Kimon, and Prince Aristidis-Stavros. In her daily life, she is often called Olympia.

Olympia became interested in fashion and art from a young age. When she was about 11, she went to her first fashion show in Rome with her parents. She studied art history, theatre, photography, and graphic design at a boarding school in Switzerland. At 17, she even worked as an intern in the couture (high fashion) department at Dior.

In 2015, Olympia started college in New York City. She studied photography at Parsons School of Design in 2016. In 2019, she earned a degree in Fashion Business and Marketing from New York University. Olympia also has dyslexia, which is a learning difference that can make reading and writing harder.

Princess Maria-Olympia has become well-known in the fashion world. In April 2016, she was featured in Vanity Fair magazine. She appeared alongside her cousins, Isabel Getty and Princess Talita von Fürstenberg.

She has modeled for many popular magazines. These include Teen Vogue, Town & Country, and Tatler. In June 2017, Maria-Olympia walked the runway for the famous fashion brand Dolce & Gabbana. She has also modeled for Michael Kors.

In August 2018, a fashion show during Copenhagen Fashion Week was named OLYMPIA after her. She even opened the show as the first model on the stage. She also became the face of Pretty Ballerinas's Spring/Summer 2019 collection.

Personal Life

Maria-Olympia has close ties to other royal families. In September 2024, she was a bridesmaid at the wedding of her aunt, Princess Theodora of Greece and Denmark. The wedding took place in Athens.

In December 2024, Maria-Olympia and other members of the former Greek royal family received Greek citizenship. Their surname is now de Grece.
