Princess Pring (Hangul: 프린세스 프링; RR: peulinseseu peuling) is also known as Princess Pring in the Birthday Kingdom. It's a fun story that started in 2012. A Korean toy company called Loco Entertainment created this Media franchise.
The main character is Princess Pring, a cute rabbit girl. She loves to make kids happy on their birthdays. She also helps them with problems in super fun ways!
This story became a musical animated TV show. It was shown on KBS1 in South Korea. The show aired from December 19, 2015, to July 16, 2016. A second season was planned for 2018. There's also a spin-off show called Celebrina in Birthday Wishland. It was set to be released around the world in 2019.
How Princess Pring Began
The Princess Pring story began in 2012. Loco Entertainment created it with help from the Korea Creative Content Agency. This help was for making new characters and toys. They wanted to create many cool things like plush toys, books, and even cutlery.
The idea for Princess Pring was very popular. It received praise at the Seoul Character Licensing Fair in 2013 and 2014. On December 31, 2014, KBS Kids aired a special show about Princess Pring.
In May 2015, another company called KTH invested money. This helped to fund a full TV series. The animated series was then made. It was shown on KBS1 from December 2015 to July 2016.
Making the Animated Series
The Princess Pring animated series is made using CGI. This means it's all created with computers. It's like a musical adventure! Hwang Gun-dan from ButterFly music studios wrote all the songs. A real orchestra played the music for the show.
The producer, Yang Hyeon-jin, explained something cool. He said the music and animation work together. They help to show the feelings and mood of each scene. This makes the show even more special.
Animax Korea also showed the series in South Korea in 2016. A second season of the series was officially announced. It was planned to be released in 2018.
