Princess Sarah is a TV show from the Philippines. It first aired in 2007. The show is based on a famous Japanese anime series. That anime was also called Princess Sarah. Both are inspired by a classic book, A Little Princess, written by Frances Hodgson Burnett.

The main star of the show is Sharlene San Pedro, who plays Sarah Crewe. You could watch Princess Sarah on ABS-CBN in the evenings. It was also shown worldwide on The Filipino Channel. The series ran from November 12 to December 21, 2007.

The show was filmed in beautiful places. These included Camp John Hay in Baguio and the Coconut Palace in Manila. This TV version added new fantasy elements. It also changed some characters from the original story. For example, Ram Dass became a female sorceress. Lavinia was also shown as Miss Minchin's daughter.

Story of Princess Sarah

Sarah Crewe is a kind and wealthy girl. She studies at a special boarding school for rich girls. Sarah's mother has passed away. But her father, Captain Cristopher Crewe, gives her lots of love.
