Habib Mohamed (born August 2, 1995), known as Puffy L'z, is a rapper and singer from Toronto, Ontario. He has Somali family roots. Puffy L'z released his first album, Take No L'z, on July 19, 2019.

About Puffy L'z

Early Life and Music

Puffy L'z grew up in Regent Park, Toronto. This is a large community in Canada. He started rapping in 2015. During this time, he shared many freestyle songs.

His first song, Been Flexing, came out on February 10, 2016. It quickly became very popular. In its first year, the song was viewed over one million times online.

Joining Halal Gang

Puffy L'z became well-known as part of a music group called Halal Gang. Other members included Mustafa the Poet, Mo-G, Safe, and Smoke Dawg. Smoke Dawg was a close friend.

In early 2017, Puffy L'z performed on Drake's "Boy Meets World European Tour." He played in 15 shows across Europe.

Sadly, his friend Smoke Dawg passed away in 2018. After this, Puffy L'z took a break from making music. He needed time to remember his friend. Later, Puffy L'z and other artists formed a supergroup called "Full Circle."

New Music and First Album

Puffy L'z returned to music in early 2019. He released a new song called Front Gate. This song featured the British rapper Giggs.

His first studio album, Take No L'z, was released on July 19, 2019. The album included songs with other artists. These artists were Safe, Jay Whiss, Giggs, and Smoke Dawg. Puffy L'z also appeared on Jay Whiss's album Peace of Mind. He was featured on the song "Valet."
