Pulaski is a town in Pulaski County, Virginia, United States. It is the main town, also known as the county seat, of Pulaski County. In 2010, about 9,086 people lived there.
Pulaski is part of the larger Blacksburg–Christiansburg metropolitan area. This means it's connected to these nearby cities.

History of Pulaski
Pulaski became an official town in 1886. It was named after Count Casimir Pulaski. He was a hero from Poland who helped America during the American Revolutionary War.
On April 8, 2011, two tornadoes hit Pulaski. They caused a lot of damage to buildings. About 31 buildings were destroyed, and 77 others were damaged. The total cost of the damage was around $1.68 million.

Fun and Recreation
Pulaski offers several fun activities and places to visit:
- Baseball: The town is home to the Pulaski River Turtles baseball team. They play in the Appalachian League at Calfee Park. Before 2021, they were known as the Pulaski Yankees.
- Outdoor Trails: The northern part of New River Trail State Park is in Pulaski. This park has 6 miles of special trails for mountain biking on Draper Mountain. You can also find many scenic roads for road biking.
- Gatewood Park: This park and reservoir covers 400 beautiful acres. It is located in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Southwest Virginia. The Town of Pulaski owns the park, and it's easy to reach from Interstates 81 and 77.
