Punch Bowl Falls is a beautiful waterfall located in Oregon, United States. You can find it on Eagle Creek, which flows into the famous Columbia River. This amazing waterfall is part of the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area.
The waterfall is about 35 feet (11 m) tall, which is like a three-story building! It's also about 10 feet (3.0 m) wide. The water from Eagle Creek rushes through a narrow path. Then, it powerfully shoots into a wide, round area below. This area looks a lot like a large bowl used for serving punch, which is how the waterfall got its unique name.
Because of its special shape, Punch Bowl Falls even helped create a new way to describe waterfalls. Waterfalls that look like a punchbowl are now called "punchbowl" type waterfalls. This waterfall is not the same as another waterfall with the same name in Jasper National Park, Canada.
