Putscheid (which is Pëtschent in Luxembourgish) is a small area in north-eastern Luxembourg. It is known as a commune, which is like a local government area. Putscheid is also a village within this commune. It belongs to the canton of Vianden, which is a larger administrative region.
As of 2024, the main village of Putscheid has about 115 people living there. However, the commune of Putscheid includes several other villages. These include Bivels, Gralingen, Merscheid, Nachtmanderscheid, Stolzembourg, and Weiler. Together, these villages make up the whole commune.
