The Pygmalion Festival, also called PYGMALION, is a fun event that lasts for several days. It takes place every September in Champaign-Urbana, Illinois, in the United States. The festival is named after an album called Pygmalion by the band Slowdive.
At the festival, many shows happen at the same time in different places, just like at the SXSW festival. You can see bands from the local area, as well as famous bands from all over the country. Some of the bands that have played there include Of Montreal, Man Man, Yo La Tengo, Andrew Bird, Wavves, Black Mountain, Iron & Wine, Dan Deacon, and Okkervil River.
