Quatro TV Commercials
In 1986, an advertising company called Kirkwood and Partners was asked to create a TV commercial for Quatro. They came up with an idea called 'Machine'. This commercial showed a futuristic vending machine that wasn't working correctly.
Annabel Jankel and Rocky Morton from Cucumber Studios directed the commercial. They were known for their cool music videos. They combined live action with advanced computer animation. To make the best special effects, Jankel and Morton worked with Sogitec in France. Sogitec was a company that created flight simulations. They helped make the amazing animation for the inside of the vending machine.
The lively music for the commercial was created by Intaferon. This was an English music duo made up of Simon Fellowes and Simon Gillham.
