Quévy (pronounced KAY-vee) is a town in Wallonia, which is a region in Belgium. It's located in the Hainaut province.
On January 1, 2006, Quévy had about 7,734 people living there. The total area of the town is about 65.16 square kilometers. This means there were about 119 people living in each square kilometer. This is called the population density.

Location and Transport
Quévy is located on an old main railway line. This line used to connect Brussels in Belgium to Paris in France.
It was also a special border for train tickets. This meant that the rules for train fares (how much tickets cost) changed when trains crossed from the French railway system (SNCF) into the Belgian railway system (SNCB) at Quévy.
