Qviding FIF is a Swedish football club based in Gothenburg. It was created in October 1987 when two clubs, BK Qviding and Fräntorps IF, joined together. Qviding FIF currently plays in Division 1 Södra.
The club has played four seasons in the Superettan, which is Sweden's second-highest football league. Qviding FIF is connected to the Göteborgs Fotbollförbund, which is the local football association in Gothenburg.
Since 2008, their home stadium has been Valhalla IP. Before that, they played at a place called Torpavallen.

Club History
Qviding FIF started in 1987 when two local football clubs decided to merge. This helped them become a stronger team.
Climbing the Ranks
In the early 1990s, Qviding FIF played in Division 3, which was then the fourth level of Swedish football. They worked hard and were promoted to Division 2 (Tier 3) in 1995. They stayed in Division 2 for many years, often finishing in the top half of the league.
In 2005, Qviding FIF won their Division 2 section and earned promotion to the Superettan, the second-highest league in Sweden. This was a big achievement for the club!
Time in Superettan
Qviding FIF played in the Superettan in 2006. After one season, they were relegated back to Division 1. However, they quickly bounced back, winning Division 1 Södra in 2007 and getting promoted to Superettan again for the 2008 season.
They stayed in Superettan for two more seasons, in 2008 and 2009. After being relegated in 2009, they had another chance in Superettan in 2011 but were relegated again.
Recent Seasons
After their time in Superettan, Qviding FIF played in Division 1 Södra (Tier 3) for several years. In 2017, they faced a tough time and were relegated two levels due to financial issues, ending up in Division 3 (Tier 5).
However, the club showed great spirit! They won Division 3 Nordvästra Götaland in 2018 and were promoted. Then, in 2019, they won Division 2 Västra Götaland, getting promoted again. This brought them back to Division 1 Södra (Tier 3) for the 2020 season.
