Rabey is a small, unincorporated community located in Aitkin County, Minnesota, United States. It's nestled within the beautiful Savanna State Forest. You can find Rabey between two towns, Hill City and Jacobson, right along State Highway 200 (MN 200). Look for Rabey Road (also known as 250th Avenue) and Elliot Road nearby! Rabey is part of an area called the Northwest Aitkin Unorganized Territory within Aitkin County. This just means it's a smaller community that doesn't have its own city government.
A Look Back: Rabey's History
Rabey has an interesting past, even though it's a quiet place today. This community once had its very own post office, which served the area for many years, from 1913 until 1941. Back in the day, Rabey was a much busier spot. It even had a train station, which was important for travel and moving goods. There was also a large general store, where people could buy all sorts of things they needed, from food to tools.
