Rachel Boston is an American actress known for her roles in TV shows and movies. She has starred in many independent films and was a regular on several TV series. You might know her from the NBC drama American Dreams, where she played Beth Mason from 2002 to 2005. She also appeared in The Ex List in 2008 and In Plain Sight from 2011 to 2012. From 2013 to 2014, Rachel starred as Ingrid Beauchamp in the Lifetime fantasy-drama series Witches of East End.

Early Life and Beginnings
Rachel Boston was born in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Her parents are William Terry Boston and Brenda Billingsley Boston. She grew up in Signal Mountain, Tennessee. When she was seventeen, she moved to New York City to study at New York University. Before becoming an actress, Rachel was crowned Miss Tennessee Teen USA in 1999. She even placed in the Top 10 at the national competition!
Acting Career Highlights
Rachel Boston's acting journey began in 2001. She quickly landed a big role in the NBC series American Dreams. This show aired from 2002 to 2005. Rachel played Beth Pryor, who was married to the oldest son of the main family in the series.

Besides her main roles, Rachel has made guest appearances in many other popular TV shows. These include The Closer, Las Vegas, The Daily Show, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Grey's Anatomy, Rules of Engagement, Crossing Jordan, and NCIS.
Big Roles in TV and Movies
In 2008, Rachel starred as Daphne Bloom in the CBS series The Ex List. That same year, she also appeared in the medical drama ER as an American soldier. She also filmed two movies: Ghosts of Girlfriends Past with Matthew McConaughey and Jennifer Garner, and 500 Days of Summer with Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Zooey Deschanel.
In 2011, Rachel joined the cast of USA Network's popular series In Plain Sight. She played Abigail Chaffee, a police detective and a love interest for one of the main characters. She continued this role as a regular cast member for the show's final season.
Awards and Independent Films
Rachel received great reviews for her role in the independent film The Pill. She won several awards for her performance, including the Best Actress Award from the San Diego Film Festival. She also received the Stargazer Award from the Gen Art Film Festival and the Emerging Artist Award from the Big Apple Film Festival.
Rachel also worked behind the scenes as an executive producer for the independent film Black Marigolds. She also starred in this movie, working again with her co-star from The Pill, Noah Bean.
In 2012, Rachel starred in the movie It's a Disaster alongside Julia Stiles and America Ferrera. Later that year, she was cast in the Lifetime fantasy-drama series Witches of East End. This show was based on a popular novel and premiered in October 2013.
Hallmark Channel Movies
While working on Witches of East End, Rachel also starred in a Hallmark movie called A Ring by Spring. After Witches of East End ended, Rachel became a familiar face on the Hallmark Channel. She starred in many of their original movies, including Ice Sculpture Christmas in 2015 and Stop the Wedding in 2016. She also partnered with author Melissa de la Cruz for a new Christmas movie called Christmas in Angel Falls.
More recently, between 2018 and 2019, Rachel took on a leading role in the film I Hate Kids with Tom Everett Scott. In November 2018, she made a guest appearance on the ABC drama The Good Doctor.
Personal Life
Rachel Boston got engaged to professional chef Tolya Ashe on June 16, 2021. In January 2022, they welcomed their first child, a baby girl named Grace.
