Rachid Belhout (born June 14, 1944 – died August 9, 2020) was a famous Algerian football player and manager. He was known for leading many football teams, especially in Algeria and other North African countries. He even managed Al-Ahly Benghazi in the Libyan Premier League towards the end of his career.

As a young player, Rachid Belhout played for several youth clubs. These included FC Othe-Montmédy, ES Longuyonnaise, Le Havre AC, and FC Antibes. Later, he played for R.E. Virton.

Winning the Algerian Cup
On December 22, 2010, Belhout took over as manager of JS Kabylie. He led them to a big victory on May 1, 2011. His team won the 2010–11 Algerian Cup by beating USM El Harrach 1-0 in the final match. This was a major achievement for the club. He left the club on June 26, 2011.
Coaching in Tunisia and Libya
After his time in Algeria, Belhout also coached teams in other countries. On July 19, 2011, he signed a contract with the Tunisian club Union Sportive Monastir. Later in his career, from 2019 to 2020, he managed Al-Ahly Benghazi in Libya.
His Final Years
Rachid Belhout continued to be involved in football until his death. He passed away on August 9, 2020, when he was 76 years old. He died after being in a car crash near Nancy, France.
