Radivoj Lazić (born August 1, 1953, in Kikinda) is a talented musician, a great clarinet player, a teacher, and a composer. He also enjoys painting and writing books for children.

About Radivoj Lazić

Radivoj Lazić was born on August 1, 1953, in a town called Kikinda. This town is in a region known as Banat, in Voivodina. He finished his first eight years of school there. He also started learning to play the clarinet in Kikinda.

From 1971 to 1974, he went to the "Isidor Bajić" Music High School in Novi Sad. There, he studied with Professor Mihajlo Kelbli. In 1974, he began studying at the Faculty of Music in Belgrade. He learned from Professor Bruno Brun and later from Professor Milenko Stefanovic. He finished his music studies in 1979.

His Work as a Teacher

In 1978, Radivoj Lazić became a clarinet professor. He taught at the Music School "Kosta Manojlović" in Zemun.

His students have won many top awards. They earned first and special prizes in music competitions. These competitions took place in Serbia (which was part of Yugoslavia back then) and in other countries.

In 1995, he received an award for his excellent teaching. The Association of Music and Ballet Teachers of Serbia gave him this prize.

Radivoj Lazić's Musical Creations

  • Great Masters for Clarinet I, II, III, IV, V and VI: These books are famous classical pieces rewritten for clarinet and piano. There are 65 well-known songs in total.
  • The Young Clarinet Virtuoso I, II, III and IV: These books contain 20 original songs for clarinet and piano. They range from medium difficulty to very advanced.
  • We are playing with orchestra: This book has 25 songs arranged for clarinet and a school orchestra. These songs are chosen from his other collections.
