Randall Andre Milligan, born on November 27, 1961, is a former professional baseball player. He played as a first baseman in Major League Baseball (MLB) from 1987 to 1994. Randy Milligan is often called "Moose" by his fans and teammates. Today, he works as a scout for the Baltimore Orioles baseball team.

Early Career Success
Randy Milligan showed great talent in the minor leagues. In 1987, he had an amazing year in the International League. He won the batting title, which means he had the best hitting average in the league. He also led the league in runs scored and runs batted in (RBIs).
Milligan hit 29 Home runs that year. He almost won the "Triple Crown" for hitting, missing it by just two home runs. The Triple Crown is when a player leads the league in batting average, home runs, and RBIs. Because of his fantastic season, he was named the league's Most Valuable Player (MVP). He also won Rookie of the Year and was chosen as the All-Star first baseman.
Playing in the Major Leagues
After his success in the minor leagues, Randy Milligan joined Major League Baseball. He played for several teams during his career. His first team was the New York Mets in 1987. He then played for the Pittsburgh Pirates in 1988.
Milligan spent most of his MLB career with the Baltimore Orioles, playing for them from 1989 to 1992. Later, he played for the Cincinnati Reds and Cleveland Indians in 1993.
