The second season of Rapunzel's Tangled Adventure is an exciting part of the animated TV series. It first aired on June 24, 2018, and finished on April 14, 2019. Before this season began, the show's name changed from Tangled: The Series to Rapunzel's Tangled Adventure. This season follows Rapunzel and her friends on a big journey beyond the kingdom of Corona.

Rapunzel and her friends begin their journey to follow the mysterious Black Rocks. Eugene plans to propose to Rapunzel again, but things get awkward. Their first stop is Vardaros, a city full of criminals. Eugene, Lance, and Shorty are captured by the Baron, a past enemy of Eugene's. The Baron wants Eugene to marry his daughter, Stalyan. Rapunzel and Cassandra meet Adira, a warrior who knows about the Black Rocks. Rapunzel saves Eugene, and they decide to wait on marriage. Adira gives Rapunzel a scroll piece with new information.

Eugene opens it and finds a warning from Demanitus. The warning says one friend will betray Rapunzel at the Dark Kingdom. Eugene looks at Cassandra, who smiles strangely at Rapunzel. Flashbacks show Quirin was part of the Dark Kingdom. Mother Gothel was Demanitus's student who betrayed him for Zhan Tiri.
