Raquel Castro (born November 17, 1994) is an American actress and singer. She is well-known for her role in the 2004 movie Jersey Girl. In the film, she played Gertie Trinké, the daughter of characters played by Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez. For this role, Raquel won a Young Artist Award for being the best young actress under ten years old in a movie. She also appeared as a contestant on the TV singing show The Voice.

Acting Roles
Raquel Castro started her acting career on the TV show Third Watch. After that, she starred in the 2004 movie Jersey Girl. She played the daughter of the main characters.
In 2005, she appeared in an episode of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. She also acted in the movie Little Fugitive. Later, Raquel was in two episodes of the Disney Channel show Liv & Maddie. She played Liv's friend, South Salamanca.
In 2006, Raquel was in the music video for the song "Runaway Love" by Ludacris and Mary J. Blige. She played a girl who runs away from home. She also had a role in the 2009 movie The Ministers, which starred John Leguizamo.
Singing Journey
Raquel Castro was a contestant on the first season of The Voice. She joined Christina Aguilera's team after her "Blind Audition." She made it to the live shows but was later eliminated.
Raquel has shared her singing on YouTube. She posted a cover of Christina Aguilera's song "Ain't No Other Man." She has said that Christina Aguilera and Selena are her biggest musical inspirations.
Raquel released her first song, "Diary," on February 1, 2012. It was available on iTunes and CDBaby. She also released a music video for "Diary" on YouTube. A dance remix of the song, called "Diary (J Chris Griffin Remix)," came out in March 2012. She also released another song called "Game Over" in 2013.
In 2019, Raquel sang the theme song for the Netflix show Carmen Sandiego. In 2020, she appeared on season 2 of NBC's Songland. On the show, she presented her song "Wrong Places" to the artist H.E.R., who chose to record it for her album.
