Raymond William Richardson (16 October 1909 – 11 August 1968) was an important Church of England priest. He also served as a chaplain in the Royal Navy. Raymond William Richardson was born on October 16, 1909. His father, The Rev William Archibald Richardson, was also a priest. Raymond went to school at Magdalen College School, Oxford. Later, he studied at Trinity College, Dublin.

Becoming a Priest

After his studies, Raymond decided to follow in his father's footsteps. He became a deacon in 1935. A year later, in 1936, he became a priest. Before joining the Navy, he worked as a curate in places like Ardamine and Queenstown (now called Cobh).

In 1939, Raymond Richardson married Jocelyn Carroll. They had three sons together.
