Reading Memorial High School (RMHS) is a public high school for students in grades 9 to 12. It's the only high school in Reading, Massachusetts, and is part of the Reading Public Schools. In 2016, about 1,269 students attended RMHS. Students usually come from Parker and Coolidge Middle Schools in Reading. The school building was updated and expanded in 2007. RMHS sports teams are called the Rockets. They compete in the Middlesex League. The school is led by Principal Jessica Callanan, along with Vice Principals Jessica Theriault and Kathleen Buckley.

Baseball Success
In 1996, the Reading Memorial Boys Varsity Baseball team won their first State Championship. This was a big moment for the school's baseball program.
Girls' Basketball Triumphs
The Reading Memorial High School Girls Basketball team had an amazing year in 2012. They won the Division II Massachusetts State Championship. They finished the season undefeated with 25 wins and 0 losses. This was the first state championship for basketball at RMHS. The next year, they almost won again but lost in overtime.
Boys' Hockey Wins
In 2014, the Rockets' boys varsity hockey team won the Division I State Championship. They defeated Braintree 4-1. This was their first state championship since winning the Super 8 Championship in 2008.
Girls' Hockey Championship
The Reading girls varsity hockey team also won a Division I State Championship in 2015. They beat Acton-Boxborough Regional High School 3-0. This was the first state championship for the girls' hockey program.
Football Super Bowl Appearances
The Rockets' football team has played in several Super Bowls. In 2016, they reached the Super Bowl for the second year in a row but lost a close game. The team has won two of the five Super Bowls they've played in since 2003, with victories in 2009 and 2012. They also won Super Bowls in 1993, 1995, 1996, and 1998.

In 2018, the Rockets' boys varsity lacrosse team won the MIAA Division 2 State Championship. They defeated Concord-Carlisle High School 13-9. This was the first time the program had ever reached a state final and won a championship.
