Real Atlantic Superstore is a popular Canadian supermarket chain. It has stores across the Maritime Provinces of New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, and Prince Edward Island. This chain is part of Loblaw Companies Limited, which is owned by George Weston Limited. People often call it simply Superstore.

The Story of Superstore
The company that owns Real Atlantic Superstore, Loblaw, first came to Atlantic Canada in 1976. They bought a company called Atlantic Wholesalers, which owned the SaveEasy stores.
How the Name Changed
In 1986, the very first large grocery store opened in Moncton, New Brunswick. It was called The Real Atlantic Superstore. Later, in 1995, the name became shorter, just Atlantic Superstore. Then, in 2024, the name changed back to Real Atlantic Superstore.
When the name changed in 1995, the stores also got a new look. They were designed to feel more like a market, and their slogan was "Low Prices and More!". Over time, most SaveEasy stores became SuperValu or Superstore locations.
Growing and Changing
During the 1990s, the company's main office moved to Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. New warehouses were built to help get products to stores faster. Many new, large stores opened across the region in just a few years.
In the early 2000s, Superstore used the slogan "Eat Well, Spend Less". This was similar to what other Loblaw stores were doing. Later, they used "Prices You Can Trust" and then "Just Lower Prices".
A Fresh New Look in 2024
On August 8, 2024, Real Atlantic Superstore launched an exciting new look. This change made the stores look more like their sister chain, Real Canadian Superstore. New signs appeared inside and outside the stores. The name, Real Atlantic Superstore, stayed the same. However, the logo changed to match the "Real" branding style. Real Atlantic Superstore also started using the slogan "Save for Real," just like Real Canadian Superstore. These changes help shoppers find things easily and make smart choices when buying.
