How It Started

The very first Red Mill restaurant opened way back in 1937. It was located in the Capitol Hill neighborhood of Seattle. This original restaurant served tasty burgers for about 30 years before it closed its doors in 1967.

A Fresh Start

After many years, Red Mill Burgers got a new life! In 1994, new owners reopened the restaurant in the Phinney Ridge area. People loved it so much that they opened a second location in Interbay in 1998. Later, in 2011, a third Red Mill Burgers opened in Ballard, close to the famous Ballard Locks.
