Redwood is a special kind of community in Josephine County, Oregon, United States. It is called a census-designated place (CDP). This means it is a place that the government counts for population, but it is not officially a city or town with its own local government.
In 2010, about 2,627 people lived in Redwood. This number was smaller than in 2000, when 5,844 people lived there. The reason for this change is that some of Redwood's land became part of the nearby city of Grants Pass.
