Reginald Dwayne Slater (born August 27, 1970) is a former professional basketball player from Houston, Texas. He played as a power forward. Reggie played college basketball for the Wyoming Cowboys.
Reggie is married to Katie Slater. They have four children: Aliyah, Reginald Jr. (RJ), Rashawn, and Rylan. His son Rashawn Slater was a top pick in the NFL draft. RJ played football for the Air Force Academy from 2014 to 2018.

Reggie Slater's Basketball Journey
Reggie Slater was not chosen in the 1992 NBA draft. He started his professional career playing basketball in Spain. After two years there, the Denver Nuggets signed him in 1994.
Playing in the NBA
