In 1974, Sir Reginald was promoted again. He became the Chief Education Officer for the government. This was a very important role. It meant he was in charge of many decisions about education in Grenada.

Sir Reginald retired from his government job in 1980. After that, he worked in the private sector. He served two terms as the President of the Grenada Employer's Federation. This group helps businesses and employers.

Serving as Governor-General
