Reina Tanaka (田中 れいな, Tanaka Reina, born November 11, 1989) is a Japanese singer and musical actress. She is the leader of the Japanese rock band Lovendor. From 2002 to 2013, she was one of the main singers of the girl group Morning Musume. She also took part in other music groups under the Hello! Project name.

Reina Tanaka's Music Journey
Joining Morning Musume (2001–2013)
Reina Tanaka tried out for Morning Musume in 2001. She passed the first part but was too young to continue. She tried again in 2002 for the 6th Generation and joined the group. Other new members were Eri Kamei and Sayumi Michishige.
Reina sang the main parts for the song "Shabondama". In 2003, she became part of a smaller group called Aa!. This group included Miyabi Natsuyaki and Airi Suzuki. They released one song, "First Kiss".
In 2004, Reina sang in a big song called "All for One & One for All!". This song was a team-up by all the Hello! Project artists. In 2008, Reina became the leader of another new group called High-King.
Voice Acting and Leaving Morning Musume
Reina started voice acting in 2008. She voiced Kirara, the main character in the anime show Onegai My Melody Kirara. This show started in April 2008.
From 2009 to 2010, Reina voiced the main character of the anime series Kaitō Reinya. The character was even designed to look like Reina!
Reina left Morning Musume on May 21, 2013. After that, she focused on her rock band, Lovendor.
Lovendor and Solo Work (2013–Present)
Lovendor was formed in 2012. It started with four members: Reina Tanaka, Marina Okada, Yuki Uozumi, and Marin Miyazawa. In June 2019, the band announced they would take a break.
Reina has also performed in many musicals. Since 2018, she has been doing more solo singing shows.
Reina Tanaka's Life
Reina was born in Fukuoka Prefecture, Japan. She has a younger brother who is seven years younger than her.
On July 15, 2024, Reina announced that she was married and expecting her first child. She gave birth to her daughter on November 18, 2024.
