Remo Bodei (born August 3, 1938 – died November 7, 2019) was an Italian philosopher. He was a professor who taught about the history of philosophy. He worked at the UCLA University in Los Angeles, California. He also taught at the University of Pisa and the Scuola Normale Superiore di Pisa.

Bodei was born in Cagliari, Italy. He was very interested in classical German philosophy. He also studied the Weimar Classicism period, which was from 1770 to 1830. Later, he wrote more than 200 papers. These papers were about utopian thinkers from the 1700s and 1800s. He also wrote about modern political ideas. He passed away in Pisa, Italy, when he was 81 years old.

Remo Bodei was part of the Contemporary Centre of Arts. This center was started by Menotti Lerro. After he passed away, he won the Cilento Poetry Prize in 2020. This award was for his work in criticism.

Remo Bodei wrote many important books. These books explored different ideas in philosophy. He often wrote about how people think and feel. He also looked at how societies are organized.
