Ricardinho started his professional football career in 1995. He played for Paraná in Brazil.
Playing in Europe
In 1997, Ricardinho moved to Europe. He joined Girondins Bordeaux in France. After a year, he returned to Brazil.
Success with Corinthians
From 1998 to 2001, Ricardinho played for Corinthians Paulista. This was a very successful time for him. He helped the team win important titles. He later returned to Corinthians for a short period in 2006.
