Richard Court is a cool place to live in Salt Lake City! It has two tall buildings, each 11 stories high. Together, they have 90 apartments.
These buildings are built around a small courtyard, also called Richard Court. This courtyard leads right into the City Creek Center, a big shopping and living area. Richard Court is across the street from the famous Salt Lake Temple. The buildings look nice with their brick walls. On the ground floor, there are shops you can visit. And don't worry about parking, there's a special underground garage!
How Richard Court Was Built
Richard Court was planned as part of the huge City Creek Center project. It was one of the very first buildings to be built in this new area.
The idea was to make it easy for people to walk from Temple Square right into the City Creek Center. The two apartment buildings stand on each side of the courtyard, guiding people along.
Who Designed Richard Court?
Two main architecture firms, FFKR Architects and ZGF Architects, designed these buildings. They also helped design other cool parts of the City Creek Center, like The Regent and 99 West on South Temple.
Okland Construction was the main company that built Richard Court. The project even earned a Gold LEED certification. This means it was built in a way that is good for the environment!
