Richardson Island used to be a marshy island in the Sacramento–San Joaquin River Delta. Today, it is completely surrounded by land. You can find it in Marin County, California.
The island's exact location is 37°56′12″N 122°31′04″W / 37.93667°N 122.51778°W. In 1981, the United States Geological Survey measured its elevation. They found it was about 16 feet (or 4.9 meters) above sea level.
