Ridge Manor is found in the eastern part of Hernando County, Florida. It is located at coordinates 28.499108 degrees North and 82.181305 degrees West. To the south, it shares a border with Lacoochee, which is in Pasco County.

The Withlacoochee River flows through the southern and western parts of Ridge Manor. This river flows north. A popular path called the Withlacoochee State Trail also runs through the area. This trail used to be a railroad line.

Florida State Road 50 connects US 98 and US 301 in the northern part of Ridge Manor. This road goes east to Mascotte and west with US 98 to Brooksville. If you need to get on Interstate 75, it is about 3 miles west of Ridge Manor, and you can reach it using US 98 or SR 50.
The Story of Rital
A long time ago, there was a small place called Rital in Ridge Manor. It was located along US 98 and SR 50, near the Withlacoochee State Trail. Rital was a "ghost town," meaning it was once a community but is now mostly empty or gone.

Ridge Manor has a community park located off Ridge Manor Boulevard. This park is a great place for outdoor activities. It has baseball fields that are often used for Little League games, where kids can play and have fun.
