Schools in Ridgeway
Public schools in Ridgeway are part of the Howard–Winneshiek Community School District. This school district started on July 1, 1960. It was formed by combining several smaller school districts.
Ridgeway Elementary School closed in 2008. The city government bought the school building in 2010. Later, in 2011, a couple named Sherill and Jeff Ryan bought the old school. They turned it into a shrimp farm!
