Rita Maria de Azevedo Mafra Guerra, known as Rita Guerra (born October 22, 1967), is a famous Portuguese singer. She represented Portugal in the Eurovision Song Contest 2003. She sang the song "Deixa-me sonhar" and finished in 22nd place. In 2020, she won the Portuguese version of Masked Singer while dressed as a crow.

Rita Guerra was born and grew up in Lisbon, Portugal. She has been a singer for many years. She often performs at the Casino do Estoril, a well-known entertainment venue. Her first time on stage there was with the Belgian singer Adamo.
Early Music and Albums
Rita Guerra released her first album, "Pormenores sem a mínima importância," in 1992. This album featured other famous artists like Rui Veloso and the group Taxi. Her second album, "Independence Day," came out in 1995 and was sung entirely in English. Later, she explored ethnic music in her album "Da Gama." In 2000, Rita teamed up with singer Beto to release an album called "Desencontros."
Eurovision and Other Projects
Rita Guerra has tried to represent Portugal in the Eurovision Song Contest several times. Her first attempt was in 1992, where she reached the national finals and came in second place. She finally represented Portugal in the Eurovision Song Contest 2003 in Riga, Latvia.
