Rivadavia is a city located in the central-north part of the Mendoza province in Argentina. It is home to about 82,582 people, based on the 2010 census. Rivadavia is also the main town of the Rivadavia Department.
The city sits on the north side of the Tunuyán River. This river flows from the El Carrizal Dam, which has a large reservoir. This reservoir is a popular spot for tourists.
