From Old to New
Before Riverpoint was built, an older building called St. Munchin's House stood there. This old building was built in the 1960s and was thought to be one of the "ugliest" buildings in Limerick.
The main Riverpoint tower was built next to St. Munchin's House. Then, as the second Riverpoint tower opened in 2007, the old St. Munchin's House was taken down. Now, Riverpoint is a modern landmark in the city.
