Early Life and College Football

Playing at Saginaw Valley State
After high school, Robert received a football scholarship. He went to Saginaw Valley State University, a Division-II school. In his first year, he played in the last five games. He started four of those games as a defensive tackle. He made five tackles during this time.
As a second-year student, he played in five games. He started one game and made two tackles. In his third year, he played in ten games. He was a backup defensive tackle and made eleven tackles. In his final year, he started all twelve games. He made 25 tackles and blocked three kicks. He also had 3.5 sacks, which means he tackled the opposing quarterback.
Professional Football Career
After college, Robert Callaway became a professional football player. He joined the NFL, playing for two different teams.
Time with the Detroit Lions
